Age 74, of Centerville, originally from Crookston, MN.
Passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 21, 2025.
Preceded in death by parents, Harold & Helen; sisters, Donna & Darlene; and sister-in-law, Suzanne.
Survived by daughter Vanessa and her mother Valerie; grandson Thomas; brother Dale; sister Jane (Gary); nieces & nephews, Melissa, Ryan, Chad, Valerie & Dee; former spouse/dear friend Kristin and her children; and his beloved dogs, Arko & Otis.
Mark was born and raised in Crookston, MN where his family farmed. Upon graduation he moved to the Twin Cities, where his daughter Vanessa was born.
After first working at American Hoist, he worked for many years as a Maintenance Machinist at Metropolitan Council Wastewater Treatment.
He became very involved in his later years with Alcoholics Anonymous. In 2010 he welcomed his beloved grandson, Thomas. When not in Minnesota, he spent much time in Colorado visiting his family, motorcycling, and enjoying the outdoors.
The most important things in life to Mark were his family (including his dogs), A.A., and being a support to others, leaving the world a better place.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial gathering from 1-4 PM Sunday, October 26 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr., Lino Lakes, MN 55014. Sharing of Memories at 1 PM Sunday.
In lieu of flowers any contributions will be shared with local AA organizations.
