Joanne Vitti Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
She married John Vitti on December 1, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan. They spent 54 cherished years together before his passing on October 16, 2011.
Joanne will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and deep love for animals - especially her beloved dogs and horses. Joanne had a special bond with all animals and found joy in their companionship throughout her life.
She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: watching her favorite show Heartland, spending time with friends playing bingo, and expressing her creativity through ceramics; but most of all Joanne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Roxanne (Bill) Green, Gary (Barb) Vitti, and John Vitti, Jr; grandchildren, Theresa (Jon) Cleveland, Holly (Tony) Martinez, and Jessica (Brendon) Blackburn; great-grandchildren, Jake, Trista, Jeffrey, Dakota, Xander, Brayden, and Raya; sister Nancy Ryan; and her beloved pugs, Pugsly, Molly, Lexi, Pheobe, Buffy, and Pebbles.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, grandson, Jeffrey.
The family honors the memory of Joanne and invites you to visit and share memories Friday from 11:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a 3:30pm Funeral Service at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
