Joanne M. Voorhees
August 3, 1960 - July 29, 2025
PENNELLVILLE, NY - Joanne M. Voorhees, a loving mom and grandma. An avid runner and animal lover, Joanne embraced life with enthusiasm and warmth. For over 30 years, she served as a Licensed Practical Nurse, dedicating her life to caring for others with compassion and kindness.
Joanne is predeceased by her parents Edward G. Burke and Shirley T. Wild. Her best friend and Ex-husband Robert Voorhees.
She is survived by her spouse, Theodore Yablonski, who shared many beautiful years with her; her daughters, Tanya Priest and Lauren Voorhees, who were the pride and joy of her life; and her beloved grandchildren, Brandon Voorhees, David Priest, Carson Priest, and Lilliana Voorhees, who will forever cherish her memory.
Joanne's kindness touched many lives, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
As requested by Joanne, a celebration of life will take place at Selkirk State Park on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 1 - 3 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
