She was born in Cleveland on October 3, 1936 to Frank and Helen (Hradek) Jeric.
Surviving are her children, Steve (Barbara), Edward (Pamela), Frank Walkuski, and Charlene (Ray) Nagel; grandchildren, Steve, Michael (Vicki), Edward (Christy), Nicholas (Kristina), Scott (Lyndsie), and Devin (Mikayla) Walkuski, and Leah and Emma Nagel; many loving great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Glenboski.
Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Steve; and her siblings, Dolores, Jerry and Tony.
Joanne was a long-time Hinckley resident, and was co-founder of Hinckley Roofing with her husband, Steve. She was also the designer of the company logo, the Hinckley Roofing Buzzard. Joanne was a close friend and number one fan of Mickey Gilley and was the head of his fan club. She also enjoyed traveling and was an animal lover.
Private services will be held.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Medina Co. SPCA, 8790 Guilford Rd, Seville, OH 44273, or to Suncrest Hospice, 6500 Rockside Rd., Suite #130, Independence, OH 44131.
