Jodee Melissa Wiley, age 48, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Jodee was born on October 21, 1976, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Lela Jo (Terry) and Richard Carl Freeman.

Jodee was a dedicated and hardworking woman who poured her heart into everything she did. She spent much of her career serving others through her work with the Choctaw Nation, taking on various roles as her health would allow. Her commitment to helping others never wavered-she consistently went above and beyond for those in need.
In her younger years, Jodee had a deep love for sports. She played golf in college and was a passionate fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm. Her outgoing and cheerful personality made her a joy to be around, and she had a special gift for making the most out of every situation, no matter the challenges she faced.
Jodee's faith was an important part of her life, and she attended Community Bible Church. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, infectious energy, and her enduring strength.
Jodee is survived by her aunt, Melba Arterburn; her cousins, Linda Brown, Darrell Brown, Donovan Arterburn 3, Heather Arterburn, Erica Beam, Olivia Garr, Maria Harris, Shawn Harris, Madison Arterburn, Ray Arterburn, Bellamy Arterburn, and Audrey Pickney.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Lela Jo (Terry) and Richard Carl Freeman; her aunt and uncle, Bill and Marion Brown; as well as her cousin, Skylar Arterburn.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to https://www.huntingtonsdiseaseclinic.com in Jodee's memory. The will be no service at this time. Cremation is under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
