Schwartz, Jodie Marie- Dear sister of Julie (Steve) Forde, Jillian (Michael) Moore, Bradley (Lauren) Gettelfinger, and the late Mark, Craig, and Jennifer Gettelfinger. Beloved daughter of Frank Gettelfinger and the late Diane (nee Holiday). Spouse of Brandon Schwartz. Loving aunt of Addison, Avery, and Antonia Forde, Cecilia and Rory Gettelfinger, and Carter Moore. Cousin of Candice (Chris) Sheppard. Also survived by her lifelong companion, Henry Araujo. In addition to her mom and siblings, Jodie was preceded in death by her grandparents: Frank and Margaret Gettelfinger and Dorothy and Thomas Holiday. Passed away September 20, 2025 at the age of 35.

Jodie worked as a medical assistant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital on the Ortho floor. She was a proud, lifelong heart warrior, a friend to many, and was known for always having a smile on her face. Jodie enjoyed Adam Sandler movies, listening to music, animals, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was compassionate and kind- wearing her heart on her sleeve. Above all else, her favorite title was "Aunt". Her nieces and nephews were her pride and joy.

Jodie's family would love to thank doctors, nurses, and staff in the Cardiac ICU at Cincinnati Children's Hospital for their gentle and loving care of their sister, daughter, and friend throughout her illness. Thank you for being the best nurses around.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 10 AM until time of funeral mass at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10010 Carolina Trace Rd, Harrison, OH 45030. The family has requested that those attending Jodie's services, wear bright and vibrant colors to celebrate the love and joy that Jodie brought to all of our lives. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Heart Institute, https://giving.cincinnatichildrens.org/campaign/679052/donate.
