Jody Sue Goff

Jody Sue Goff, 57, of Lawndale, passed away late Monday evening, August 11, 2025, in Upstate Community General Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. Born in Oneida on March 24, 1968, she was the daughter of David J. and June Stewart Goff, Sr. Jody was educated through the BOCES program and was part of Heritage Farms. She enjoyed playing bingo, loved cats, cruises and shopping. Jody is survived by: a sister, Marila (Bernad) Wootton of Oneida; brothers, David J. (Brenda) Goff Jr. of Peterboro and Mark (Janice) Goff of Oneida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, David and June Goff, her brother, Douglas Goff and Bill and Sue Ward, who were her caretakers for many years and took her on various trips. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Lawndale Group Home and to the doctors and nurses at the Upstate Community General Hospital ICU for the compassionate care provided to Jody. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida. Interment will be made in Sunnyside Cemetery.
