Holden, Utah -Jody Joyce Jarvis Hunter, 53, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at her home in Holden. She was born December 16, 1970 in a Military base near Sacramento, CA to Tommy Baxter Jarvis and Christine (Parker) Jarvis. She married Ben A. Hunter March 17, 2014 in Holden, Utah.
Jody lived in several states throughout her life including California, Utah, Wyoming, Maryland and ending up in what she referred to as “Mayberry” aka Holden, Utah. She loved to ride wave runners very fast, and was a great biker chick. She was a great mother, she loved her grandson. She also loved the Raiders football team.
She is survived by her husband: Ben A. Hunter of Holden; her son Josh Jarvis of Green River, Utah; grandson Dominick Jarvis of Green River, Utah; Sister, Jerie Jarvis of Mesquite, NV; Tommy Jarvis of Texas; she preceded in death by her mother and father.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Holden Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be in the Holden Cemetery under the care of Olpin Stevens Funeral Home. Online condolences can be offered at www.olpinstevensfuneralhome.com.
