Powers, Jody C. BROADALBIN Jody C. Powers, 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was the son of Nelson and Celia (Sutton) Powers. Jody proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was super competitive; he never liked to lose. He enjoyed playing darts, pool, foosball and horse shoes. He loved music and telling stories of his life. Creating things was a passion of his. He made you think and taught you something every day. His moral compass was like no other and he was a man of his word. Jody was thankful for all he had and was given. He would make sure to always say "I love you "and "don't get hurt." Jody was predeceased by his son, Mark, who passed in February 2022. In addition to his parents, Jody is survived by his children, Tequila, Angel (Jhai), Matthew (Shannon) and Heather (Tim). He was the brother of Lee and Randy Powers; and proud grandfather and great-grandfather of Jordan, Lindsay, Caydren, Madison, Lilly, Julian, Akil, Keegan, Fiona, Alivia, Hunter, Melody and Leo. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Thursday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
