Jody Self Obituary
A native of Spartanburg, son of Aleene Gilmer Broome (Ken) of Boiling Springs, he was an electrician, an avid hunter and fisherman, and of the Baptist faith.
Also surviving are his wife, Janet "Jan" Crawley Self of the home; a daughter, Jenna Buck (Kerrick) of Greer; a granddaughter, Evelyn Ruth Buck; a sister, Cindy Hardin (Mark) of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Darrell Frost (DeeDee) of Boiling Springs and Gary Frost (DeDe) of Spartanburg; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Judy Crawley of Greer; a sister-in-law, Kandi Self of Dayton, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Chris Self.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Mr. Tim Rhymer.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.
