Joe Harold Andrews, age 86, passed from this life Sunday, December 19, 2021. Joe was born February 6, 1935 in Madisonville, TX to Joe Gus and Melba Gibson Andrews. He was a retired rancher, and former owner/operator of Abilene Educational Supply. Joe was a member of the Rotary Club. He was a long-time member at the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Abilene where he was an elder and was devoted to humbly serving others through teaching and benevolence. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping with his wife, kids and grand-kids and flipping sour dough pancakes. He and Anna Jo made many great memories in Colorado with their dear friends the Baileys and the Bradshaws. He will be remembered as a gentle and loving husband, father, and grand-father.
Joe is survived by his wife, Anna Jo Andrews of Hudson Oaks, daughter, Sherry Singleton and husband Randy of Weatherford, sons, David Andrews and wife Sharla of Brock, Darrel Andrews and wife Vicki of Weatherford, brothers, Kenneth Andrews of Madisonville, Johnny Frossard of Ennis, Woody Frossard of Granbury, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday December 21, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel and a family graveside service Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Annetta Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christian Service Center in Abilene or the World Bible School.
