Walter Baker Browning, 73, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025 in Weatherford.
A Celebration of Life is being planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in Walter’s name, to Wounded Warrior Project.
Walter was born February 9, 1952 in Texarkana, AR; son of Kenneth Rockett Browning and Virginia Ruth (King) Browning.
Walter proudly and bravely served his county as a medic in the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam era. He was extremely proud of his military service, and was devoted to his country.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tonya Browning; and one brother, Kenneth Robert Browning.
Survivors include his loving brother, Mark Browning (Kristy); nieces, Violet Browning and Jennifer Intolubbe, Elizabeth Trevino, and Hannah Wallis; nephew, Adam Browning (Victoria); numerous great-nieces and nephews; a host of other extended family members; and a lifetime of friends.
