Joe W Bauer

Joe W Bauer 66, of Amberg passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area in Marinette. He was born on June 8, 1957, to the late Joseph and Ethel (Lange) Bauer in Sheboygan. Joe worked as a mechanic his whole adult life. For over 40 years, he owned and operated Joe's Auto Repair in Sheboygan Falls. He retired to Amberg in 2011. After dating for ten years, Joe married Donna Geiger on July 15, 2000 in Sheboygan. He enjoyed hot rods, car shows, fishing, riding around on his tractor, and going for coffee in the morning. He loved to spend time with his family and working on things in his garage.
Joe is survived by his wife of twenty three years, Donna Bauer of Amberg; daughters: Laurie (Kevin Debauche) Bauer of Mt. Pleasant, Jen Bauer, Valerie (Shayne) Hummitzsch both of Sheboygan, Jo Ann (Tavis) Heiberger of Crivitz, and Christine Bauer of Amberg; brother, Dale Bauer; sister, Rosanne Sargent; and eight grandchildren: Breann, Lexi, Ashley, Ethan, Kylie, Olivia, Madison and Lilly; and beloved dog Mia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John.
