Joe F. Cockroft, born on June 5, 1941, in Kosciusko, MS, passed away on December 21, 2024, in Brandon, MS. He was a cherished husband to his wife of 63 years, Donna Cockroft, and a devoted father to his son, Jason "Chad" Cockroft. Joe was the beloved brother of Morris Cockroft, who, along with his wife Glenda, will remember him fondly.
Joe was a man of faith who loved the Lord. A member of Fannin Baptist Church. He embraced life with enthusiasm and enjoyed hobbies such as deer hunting, horseback riding, and traveling. He also had a passion for good food, sharing meals and moments with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Sam Cockroft, his mother Florence Henrietta Reed Cockroft, and his son, Joseph Christopher Cockroft.
Visitation will be held on December 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ott & Lee Funeral Homes in Brandon, MS, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Joe will be laid to rest at Fannin Baptist Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Joe F. Cockroft will be remembered for his love, his laughter, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on through his family and the countless memories they shared.
