He was born on January 4, 1980, in Ozark Alabama to the late Walter Dyer. Joe Dyer loved and lived for his family. He was a man that never met a stranger. Throughout his lifetime, he made a difference in more lives than he could ever remember whether it was during his many years working as a nurse or just a friend he met at a store. He was a devoted husband, father, and PawPaw. He was always happy to talk about wrestling, music, and his family with anyone who wanted to listen, and always there to listen just the same. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Joe is survived by his wife, Chrystal Dyer of Dyer; two sons, Isaiah Dyer of Alamo and AJ Pickard of Trenton; daughter, Katie Pickard of Trenton; and two grandchildren, Addy Thrasher and Sophia Dyer.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Green Hill Cemetery in Halls, Tennessee. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Joe A. Dyer, please visit our floral store.
