Joseph S. "Joe" Harvey, 63, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday June 22, 2025 at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born on May 8, 1962 to Wilbur and June (Keller) Harvey at Meade, KS.
Joe had married Carole Clemons; she preceded him in death on January 1, 2000.
Joe was the Senior Class President during his senior year at Southwestern Heights High School; graduating class of 1980. He worked as an Electrician for Harvey & Son Electric where he apprenticed under his father, later taking over the business. Joe loved his career and was always willing to help anyone in need. He had a love of working, Doberman's, vehicles and his family.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Jade Brown and husband Addam of Turpin, OK, granddaughter, Angel Brown of Turpin, OK; two sisters, Diane Harvey of Liberal, KS, Suzanne Harvey of Buffalo, OK; fiancé, Rhonda Sumner of Liberal, KS; stepson, Jerame Carson and wife Cori of Hutchinson, KS; stepdaughter, Kylie Carson and husband Jim Seaman of Strasburg, CO; five step grandchildren, Hunter Carson, Morgan Carson, Cash Carson, Colton Seaman, and Jase Seaman.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Joe preferred a simple service with no public viewing.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, 10:00 am at the Arkalon Cemetery, with Pastor Rex Petty, officiating.
