Joe Wayne Loyless age 89, of Brinson, GA passed away on February 18, 2025 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM at The Donalsonville First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Eric Boomer and Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Loyless was born on July 26, 1935 in Colquitt, GA to George Loyless and Lettie McLendon. Mr. Loyless served his country in the United States Air Force. He also worked for Kaiser Chemical Plant for 29 years, but was famous for Loyless Donuts. Mr. Loyless enjoyed fishing and most importantly spending time with his family. He attended and was very involved in Donalsonville First Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Loyless is survived by his children, Lisa Vignassi (Scott) of Illinois, Carissa Bogh of Arizona, Vicki Harrell of Bainbridge, GA, Sylvia Nordan of Cornelia, GA, Sheila Reynolds (Lyn) of Bainbridge, GA, and Barry Melton of Mississippi. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James Loyless and Garland Loyless; his sister, Mavis Loyless Brooks; and his wives, Geraldine Loyless and Ann Loyless.
