Joe Elias Munoz

FORT WORTH - Jose (Joe) Elias Muñoz, 64, passed from this life on Monday, Aug. 14, 2023 into the arms of Jesus Christ.
Funeral Service: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 22 in Greenwood Chapel. Visitation: 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 21 in Greenwood Chapel followed by Rosary from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and visitation from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Joe was born Oct. 31, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas to Genaro and Elvira Muñoz. He was a very loving, proud, and supportive father and grandfather.
He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. A cherished memory was when he coached his kids Little League T-Ball and soccer teams. As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, he enjoyed cooking out and watching the games on Sundays. A craftsman mechanic, he selfless would lend a helping hand to family and friends with car problems or issues around the house. His favorite pastimes were western movies, hot-rods, and rock'n'roll music.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Genaro; and his younger brother, Daniel Muñoz.
Joe is survived by his son, Master Sergeant Joe Muñoz and wife, Fin; daughter, Roxanne Robinson and husband, Frankie Robinson; daughter, Sandra Salinas and husband, Jaimie; grandchildren, Trent, Trinity, Marilyn Robinson; Jasmine, Jamie and Lily Salinas; siblings, Juanita Castillo (Manuel), Jesse Munoz (Marcela), Anita Barron, Genaro Munoz, Jr., Margaret Molleda (Michael), Thomas Muñoz and Rosemary Baggs (David) Uncle, Gilbert Muñoz; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
