Joe Reed Obituary
Joe Reed was born July 31, 1929, in Beech Grove, Indiana to Florence “Mary” Browning. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones on January 8, 2024. Joe married the LOVE of his life Janice Anne Graves on February 24, 1956, and was preceded in death by her, October 20, 1994. Joe was also predeceased by his brother Dwight and sister Betty.
Joe is survived by his 3 sons David (Teri) Reed, Stuart (Suzanne) Reed, and Mike (Christy) Reed. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Justin, Trisha, Natalie, Stephanie, Grant, Blaine, Chase, Hailey, and Tyler; and 11 great-grandchildren: Jack, Stella, Claire, Estelle, Elouise, Harrison, Tristan, Kylee, Isabella, Gianna, and Thayer.
Some of Joe’s finest accomplishments included being a Health Care Administrator and Corporate Maintenance Director for the family business. Joe’s infectious smile and desire to make everyone around him feel comfortable will be greatly missed. Joe’s final resting place is next to his beloved wife Janice at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, Indiana.
