Joe Laverne Salazar, 72, passed away December 17, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. He was born on June 3, 1952, to Ramon Sr and Janie (Dela Cruz) Salazar, in Earth, TX. Joe spent his life farming the land; he enjoyed farming, riding the tractors, loved his credit cards and his grandchildren. The love for the credit card was to spoil his grandbabies. He is survived by his children, Michael Salazar, David Salazar, Christina Salazar, Joe Salazar, Norma Salazar and 17 grandchildren.
The Salazar family will honor and celebrate the life of Joe Salazar at 2:00PM, Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Combest Memorial Chapel, 2210 Broadway. Visitation is scheduled prior to the service and will run from 12:00PM-2:00PM. Burial will follow the funeral service and will take place at Littlefield Cemetery.
