Gilman City, MO: Joe Wilson, 69, of Gilman City, MO passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, after a battle with cancer.
Joe was born on January 7, 1956, at Dr. Bailey's clinic in Jamesport, MO. He graduated from Gilman City in 1974. Joe enjoyed a life as an avid outdoorsman. Fishing and hunting with his family were his biggest enjoyments. Joe enjoyed all children and loved handing out money to little ones. His lifetime was spent building and fixing things. He always enjoyed phone calls from people wanting help or needing advice on a project they had.
Joe is survived by his mother, Donna Wilson, Trenton, MO; his wife, Tena, Gilman City, MO; four children, Hilary Wilson, Iowa, Sawyer DeWitt, Columbia, Dustin Wilson (Charlsey), Trenton, Haize Wilson (Landon), Gilman City; and five grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Ryker, Bexton, and Atticus.
He was preceded in death by his dear sister, Peggy.
Joe's request was to have no service. He simply wanted everyone to remember him with a fond memory. Memorials may be made to the Gilman City FFA in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
