Joe Brian Zavala (Pollo) was born August 27,1986 in Fountain Valley, California and left this earthly existence on January 9, 2022 surrounded by his family in St. George, Utah. Joe grew up in Santa Ana, California and moved to LaVerkin, Utah and later Washington, Utah as a teenager, where his family currently lives.

He is survived by wife Corey, children: Anthony, Kaylee, Mateo, Evan, Kaycie, parents Jose and Elizabeth, brothers Joshua (Tara) and Abraham, as well as many extended family. He was preceded by his maternal grandparents Daniel Alba Millan and Santa Ramos Dominguez, paternal grandfather Angel Zavala Chavez, and uncles: Victor Luis Waltermire and Ulisses Alba.

There will be a viewing Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Affordable Funerals 157 E. Riverside Dr #3A, St. George, Utah 84790 between 5 to 7 pm. Another viewing will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at The Potter's House 695 N. Bluff St. #C2, St. George, Utah 84770 from 8 am until noon. The funeral services will start directly after at 12:00 pm with graveside services to follow at 2 pm at Tonaquint Cemetery 1777 S Dixie Dr., St. George Utah 84790

In lieu of flowers the family asks that money that would've been spent on flowers be given to the family to help with financial requirements.

Joe attended high school in Hurricane, Utah. Where he was on the cross country team. Joe enjoyed working with troubled youth where he worked at Red Rock Canyon School and the Utah State Youth Detention Center.

Joe was a loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed cooking, Ford Mustangs, target shooting, and football… especially the Dallas Cowboys…GO COWBOYS!

His family ranked as his highest accomplishment. Joe also enjoyed coaching his son's soccer team. Please join in celebrating his life.
