Joel Aaron Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 8, 2025.
Joel Steven Aaron, born April 20, 1961, in St. Louis Park, MN, lived an adventurous and compassionate life, full of laughter and generosity until his passing on October 5, 2025. Known for his funny anecdotes, Joel was a beacon of joy, spreading his humor and positive spirit to everyone around him. He spent many rewarding years working with sterilizing instruments for surgery at the Children's Hospital, always maintaining the highest level of care and compassion. A true people-person, Joel's relationships with family, friends, and colleagues were what mattered most to him. His generosity and compassion were felt by many, and he never hesitated to extend a helping hand to those in need.
Joel was an avid cook, always eager to try new recipes, and he had a special talent for canning Kosher Pickles. His adventurous spirit took him from his childhood home in St. Louis Park to St. Paul, where he continued to live his life to its fullest. He is survived by his mother, Sybille Aaron; his brothers and sister, Michael Aaron, Renée Aaron, Jonathan Aaron, Benjamin Aaron; and nieces, Madison Aaron and Callie Aaron; as well as his brother-in-law, Shimon Perez. Joel is preceded in death by his father, Irving Aaron; and his sister, Hadassah "Harlene" Perez.

I have known Joel for 10 years, when I started working with him. He always had a smile no matter what type of day he had. He always wanted to brighten mine and he succeeded at it every time. Joel will be greatly missed. This photo is after St. Baldricks.

Till we meet again, Dr!
