Joel Gold-75 of Naples, Florida passed away December 9,2012. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend. Growing up in Whiting, IN, he attended GRC High School and was a long time business owner in Cedar Lake, IN. Retiring to Naples in 1990, Joel managed the Naples Estates and Bayberry I Communities helping all the residents. Joel enjoyed golf, bowling, dances and the beautiful Naples sunsets. Joel was a member of the Board of Directors and President of the Cedar Lake Boys Club and also served on the Board of the Cedar Lake Jaycees and Lions Club.
Joel is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Gold of Naples, FL, sons Allen (Gail) Gold of Cedar Lake, IN, Robert (Debbie) Gold of Greenwood, IN, Gregory (Amy) Gold of Plantation, FL and daughter Kathryn (Jason) Lazure of Naples, FL, seven beautiful grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that he loved to see at family reunions.
Joel is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Rebecca Gold and his parents, Harry and Frieda Gold. Family and friends may visit from on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 4-6 PM with a Memorial Service at 6PM at Fuller Funeral Home-4735 Tamiami Trail East. Donations can be made in Mr. Golds memory to the Cedar Lake Boys Club, 13000 Fairbanks, Cedar Lake IN., 46302.
