Joel A. Zahnow

Joel A. Zahnow, age 47, of Fredonia, WI died Saturday, April 8, 2023.

He was born April 17, 1975 to Norman and Joy Orleans Zahnow. Growing up in Fredonia he attended local schools and graduated from Calvary Life Academy in West Bend, WI. After High School he served in the US Army. Joel worked as a machinist at Advanced Manufacturing Technologies in Grafton, WI and more recently at Schmidt Industries in Bay City, MI. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar, bowling, shooting pool and fishing.

Joel is survived by his mother Joy Zahnow, his son Jacob Zahnow and brothers Lance (Susan) Zahnow, William (Rhonda) Zahnow, Timothy (Sharon) Zahnow and Theodore Zahnow. He is further survived by 10 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Norman.

Funeral services will be held 6 pm Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Poole Funeral Home, 203 N Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, WI. Visitation from 4 pm to 6 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, WI.
