Johanna Watson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
It is with our deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Johanna Katrharina Watson (Dietl),who entered into rest on September 7th, 2025, from a short battle with cancer, at the age of 64. Johanna was born July 17th,1961 in Straubing (Munich),Germany, and later made her home in Canton, Ohio. Where she built a beautiful life surrounded by family and friends.
Johanna's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, swimming, boating, cookouts, long summer nights listening to classic rock under the stars, Christmas time especially with her grandsons. And of course she never turned down a game of spades or hearts. Creating memories filled with laughter and warmth was very important to her and she will be forever remembered as a strong, loving and devoted mother, grandmother and a real true friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her Opa and Oma Dietl(Germany) and Oma Carole Jean Watson(Ohio/Florida), who welcomed Johanna with loving arms. Survived by Opa Edward(Rose)Oscar Watson(Ohio/Florida).Her husband Jeffrey Allen Watson(Ohio), their 3 children, Jennifer Carole Watson, Edward Allen Watson, and Jeanette Marie Watson of(Ohio). Her 3 grandchildren, Vincent R. Silvestro(Jennifer),Russell A. Dunham(Jeanette) and Skylor J. Lane(Edward) of(Ohio), and many other family and loved ones. Last but not least, her sidekick bulldog, Chubbs who misses her greatly.
The family has chosen to not have any funeral services and instead will be honoring Johanna with a "Celebration of Life Memorial" at a later date. Her family has also asked that if anyone wants to give flowers, donations, pictures and memories please do so at the memorial. Johanna's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loves her.
