John A. Capetillo "Tony Capp," 59, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2011. He was born on July 20, 1952, in Texas City, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Capetillo and Tony and Grace Zamarron; grandparents, Concepsion and Amada Capetillo and Alberto and Luisa Pantoja; and nephew, Thomas Capetillo III. Tony graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1972, where he lettered in football and baseball for the Ganders. Tony enjoyed family gatherings and rooting for his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for two years. He was an operator for DuPont for eighteen years. He is survived by his loving children, Cathy and Justin Malone, John A. Capetillo, Danielle and Michael Guzman, all of Baytown and Jason, Jeremy and Jenna Capetillo, of Dallas; brothers and sister, Tommy Capetillo and wife, Karen, Lee Capetillo, Sonya Hinojosa and husband, Gilbert, Albert Zamarron and wife, Samantha, all of Baytown; grandchildren, Gabriel Capetillo, Kenady Irwin, Raithen and Raegan Malone, Madisyn and Nixon Guzman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home from 6 – 8 p.m., with a rosary led by Deacon George Rincon at 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Monsignor Fred O'Connor as celebrant. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be John, Tommy, Lee, Brandon, and Justin Capetillo and Albert Zamarron, Pedro Garcia and Roy Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons, Gabriel Capetillo, Raithen Malone and Nixon Guzman.
