John Randall "Randy" Albritton passed away suddenly on November 13, 2025, while doing what he loved most, spending time in the Georgia woods with his boys.
Randy was born on June 30, 1949, in Jacksonville, FL to William Edward and Pearl Elizabeth Albritton. He was pre-deceased by both parents and siblings, Dixie Ford and William "Bill" Albritton Jr. Randy met his bride, Jacqueline "Jackie" Jones, at a high school talent show in 1966 where his band was performing, they celebrated 55yrs of marriage this year.
Randy joined the Air Force in 1968, stationed at Lackland AF Base, San Antonio, TX and Chanute AF Base, Rantoul, IL. He served in the Florida Air National Guard while starting his career at the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) in 1970, where he retired after 30yrs.
Randy & Jackie moved to St. Augustine, FL in 1983, where they raised their children. Survived by his wife, 3 children, Charles "Chas" Alfred Albritton (Michelle), John Randall "Ran" Albritton Jr. (Shelley) and Molly Elizabeth Rinnert (Bret).
Very proud grandfather of 8, Cole Albritton (Lauren), Tucker Albritton (Juliette), Mac Albritton, Greyden Rinnert, Ashlyn Albritton, Piper Albritton, Paisley Rinnert and Oakley Rinnert. And his first great-grandson Chase Adam Albritton. As well as several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Randy had many close friendships over the years, hunting buddies, extended family, and a close-knit group of neighbors that he enjoyed spending time with.
Randy was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He shared his love of fishing with his children and grandchildren locally in St. Augustine and hunting in his beloved Dublin, GA.
He would often recount how blessed he was to have lived such a full life, after retiring in 2000 he and Jackie traveled either by camping their way around FL or cruising to countless countries and beautiful destinations in the USA.
Randy loved his family, his country and Jesus very much. He will be missed by many, but the legacy he leaves behind will continue for generations.
