Jeannie Dianne Glaze

Jeannie "Dianne" Glaze, 85, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at home, held in the arms of her beloved husband and daughter.
Born on January 18, 1940, in Augusta, Georgia, Dianne began her early career as a medical transcriptionist at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. While her children were young she was primarily a devoted stay-at-home mother. Later, she also worked at Barnett Banks of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, and later at ERC in Orlando, Florida. She retired in 1997, at which point she and her husband, Jim, moved to St. Augustine Beach, a place she dearly loved.
Dianne had a deep affection for the beach, enjoyed reading, and loved playing games on her computer tablet. Above all, she relished spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, James A. Glaze Sr., her daughter Holly (Barrale), five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, James (Jay) A. Glaze, Jr., and her parents Gene and Sara Wren.
A funeral service for family and friends will be held 11AM on November 22, 2025, at Craig Funeral Home in St. Augustine, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Cancer Research Institute.
