It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Sandra June Dalhite, who left us on November 7, 2025, surrounded by love. Sandra was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother whose kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Born on September 24, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, Sandra was the beloved daughter of the late Willard Lee and Ada Marie Dalhite. She lived a life full of compassion and joy and will be remembered for her generosity, love of animals and deep love for family.
Sandra is survived by her two sons, Kenneth McDermott (Julie) of Clermont, Florida, and Danny McDermott of Orange Park, Florida; and four grandchildren: Donovan McDermott, Sunnie McDermott, Sullivan Dodd, and Justin McDermott. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, December 6, 2025, at Beulah Baptist Church, located at 671 Beulah Road, Winter Garden, Florida. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring Sandra's remarkable life.
