John S. Aldridge, 75, passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 75.
Born on April 19 1949, John was a U.S. Army veteran and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a child of God and a faithful member of North Frankfort Baptist Church.
John leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Patricia M. McKinney Aldridge; children Sindy Murphy (Mark), Amanda Campbell (Kenny), and John W. Aldridge (Mandy); grandchildren Kevin Whisman, Kayla Newton (Maurice), Marilyn Simpson, Sarah Aldridge, Chelsea Aldridge, Whitney Aldridge, and Gracie Aldridge; and great-grandchildren Zoe Jane Young, Tristen Newton, Milo Simpson, Layla Simpson, Grayson Drew-Evans, Allison Salmon, and Thomas Salmon.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles S. Aldridge, mother Dorothy V. Warner Aldridge, and sister Linda S. Aldridge Stokes.
Services will be held at North Frankfort Baptist Church at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 1st with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Troy McKinney, Mark McKinney, David Ethington, Kevin Whisman, Kenny Abrams, and Todd Sutherland.

John was a very good hearted person and a good friend.we will miss you but we will see you again soon..

He was there for everyone, and loved everyone. He would always text me to check on me and let me hear about everyone even when I couldn't always be there
