John M Ary

John M. Ary, 72, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.
John was born on August 14, 1950 in Bakersfield, California, the son of Leroy and Bernice Ary. John grew up in Tehachapi, CA and enjoyed playing a variety of sports in his youth. John's love of sports followed him throughout his life. He was simply known as "Coach" to many of the athletes that he coached at Grayson Christian School. He was also a life-long, diehard Houston Oilers fan, even though the franchise no longer exists. John moved to Texas in his late teens, where he met the love of his life, Nancy V. McCraw. They were married on March 31, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. John was faithful to Nancy for 52 years. They dated for 4 years and were married for 48 years, but had a lifetime of unconditional love.
John leaves behind his beloved family, wife Nancy Ary of Cartwright, OK; son Benjamin Ary and wife Heather of Denison, TX; daughter Sarah Ary of Haslet, TX; daughter-in-law Angie Ary of Brookston, TX; brother Leroy Ary of Blue Ridge, TX; brother Bill Ary and wife Laurie of Tehachapi, CA; brother Russ Ary and wife MaryAnn of Buckeye, AZ; grandson Hunter Ary and wife Jessi of Brookston, TX; granddaughter Zoe Reedy of Hurst, TX; granddaughter Madison Reedy of Haslet, TX; grandson Dustin Deopere of Williamsburg, IA; great grandson Kash Ary of Brookston, TX; his best friends Rick Stapp of Denison, TX; Steve and Shannon Sherdahl of Wichita, KS; Larry and Mary Morphis of Tehachapi, CA; his "pretty girls" Lucy and Shela, and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Bernice Ary, Mother and Father-in-law Woodrow and Donzetta McCraw; brother Roger Ary, son Bruce Ary, as well as several other family members, fur-babies, and close friends.
Family night will be held on May 11, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm at Fisher Funeral home in Denison, TX. Funeral services will be held on May 12, 2023, at 10:30am at Fisher Funeral home in Denison, TX with Brother Charles Hamilton officiating. John will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, TX.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Coonrod, Jimmy McCraw, Mike McCraw, David McCraw, Aaron Fleming, and Brad Billy. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Hunter Ary and Dustin Deopere.
