John H. Barnhart III

John H. Barnhart III, 55, of York, passed away at home on January 6th, 2026 from natural causes.
John was born February 19th, 1970 at York Hospital. He was the son of John H. Barnhart Jr. and the late Ellen Barnhart (Reinhold).
John is survived by his 4 children: Amber, John IV, Albree, and Gabriel, as well as his granddaughter Melissa, and his siblings Monica Limanek and her husband Dennis (Massachusetts); Kimberly Shenberger and her husband David (Hellam, PA); Frank Spagnola and partner Todd Laird (Connecticut); Mary Stottlemyer and her husband Jerry (Hanover, PA). As well as his countless nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his mother Ellen L. Barnhart (Reinhold) and his 3 brothers Steven Welsh, Harry Welsh, and William Barnhart.
John enjoyed many things including: spending time with his children and two dogs Porter and Cash, hunting, fishing, camping, tattoos/drawing, and was always down to have a good time.
John's Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm January 17th, 2026 at Calvary Church, and will be officiated by Joe Fauth.
