Mr. John Wesley Beck Jr.

Mr. John Wesley Beck, Jr., was born on August 8, 1954, to Bertha Beck and John Wesley Beck, Sr., in Griffin, Georgia. John Wesley was educated in the Griffin Spalding County School System in Griffin, Georgia.

John accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was united with Straight Life Holiness Church. John was a member of Straight Life Pentecostal.

Mr. John Wesley Beck, Jr., met the love of his life Ms. Mary Ann Evans and was united in holy matrimony on May 29, 1975. Their union was blessed with three children.

John Wesley Beck, Jr., was employed by Florida Rock for 20 years. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing checkers and cards with his friends, watching cowboy movies, sitting outside and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

On Monday, September 22, 2025, Mr. John Wesley Beck, Jr., name was called, and he answered and was set free from all sickness and pain. Rest now in peace and comfort, your journey has ended, battle fought, and victory won. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Beck, and his parents, John Wesley Beck, Sr., and Bertha Beck.

Mr. John Wesley Beck, Jr., leaves to cherish his memory in the hearts of his children, Dexter (Mishon) Beck, Narkesia (Lonnie) Watkins, and Kimberly Beck; 8 grandchildren, Dextavious Beck, Yasmine Beck, Shanautica Hayes, Zykerria Beck, K'Darius Beck, Dijuan Bazemore, Demoni Beck, and Londyn Watkins, and 3 great grandchildren, Noah Hayes, Jayden Bazemore, and Taylen Bazemore; John, Lonnie, and Robert "Pig" Evans. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dear.

Service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the hour of thre service. Pastor Tommy Wiliams is the Eulogist.
