John David Bianchi, 79, resident of Nashua, New Hampshire passed away at home of natural causes on September 8, 2024.
He is survived by his children Jonatha McCarty, John Bianchi and Andrew Bianchi as well as his grandchildren Aurora and Stella.
John grew up in Milford, New Hampshire and graduated from Milford High School before joining the army reserves. After attending basic training at Fort Dix in New Jersey he enjoyed an adventure-filled life traveling back and forth across the country as a guitarist playing Folk, Blues and Psychedelic rock music with many different bands including Mother Flowers Medicine Wagon, Sweeny’s Glider and Home Grown. He lived in California during the heyday of the 1960’s and was deeply embedded in the counterculture of the time, learning to “properly” string a guitar from Jimmy Page and was offered a full-time touring role in Mountain with Leslie West. John eventually made his way back to New Hampshire to raise his family, run his company Atlantic Printing and was involved in the community as a member of the Rotary club. He retired to Florida in 2007 to spend his time fishing, playing music and walking on the beach.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 11:00am in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford, NH.
