John Paul Bittner

John Paul Bittner, of Anderson CA,passed away at Mercy Medical Center on December 25, 2025

John was born to Joseph and Karen Bittner on September 17, 1958 in Inglewood CA. In 19754 John's family moved to Northern Virginia. He was part of the first graduating class of Lake Braddock Secondary School in 1976.

John was very resourceful and could repair just about anything. From a young age, he knew he wanted to be a carpenter. For one of his first jobs, He worked for a company in Virginia that moved a historic home from one location to another. He eventually made his way back to his beloved state of California where he worked at various construction sites including, Shasta Dam, and Mercy Medical. In 2007 John established his own company, Bittner Home Repair, in Anderson.

When he wasn't working John loved spending time at his mountain home. Always accompanied by his favorite dog, he enjoyed fishing, boating, watching baseball, and playing the drums. He was very interested in Norther California and could tell you many details about it.

John is survived by his moth, brother, two sisters, former wife, son, and two grand daughters.

While he had his struggles, John also had a strong faith. One of his favorite sayings was " Go bold in Christ". John will be missed greatly by his family.
