John Howard Bock, age 83, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 22, 2024 in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. John is preceded in death by his parents: Oscar Dane Bock and Helen Aileen Clement, and his sister: Nancy Badgero. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 62 years: Patricia Anne Bock, his children: Anthony Edward Bock (Lana), Joseph John Bock (Kristen), Kimberly Ann Bock, Michael Alan Bock (Maria), Adam Matthew Bock (Michelle), and Amanda Jean Blair (Bart), his siblings: Susan and James Bock, his grandchildren: David Dasso, Julie Tusta, Elizabeth Horn, Jessica Leeser, Jonah Kracke-Bock, Caleb Kracke-Bock, Jacob Kracke-Bock, Karis Kracke-Bock, Jennifer Enriquez, Dominic Rivera, Brandon Bock, Joshua Bock, Nicholas Bock, Austin Allman, James Allman, Mattison Bock, Aiden Bock, Hannah Blair, and Chelsea Blair, as well as his 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
Pallbearers to include: Brandon Bock, Joshua Bock, Nicholas Bock, Aiden Bock, Austin Allman, James Allman, Jonah Bock, Caleb Kracke-Bock and Jacob Kracke-Bock.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes-West with a Holy Rosary to commence at 6:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere St., El Paso Texas 79912. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:45pm at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd., Santa Teresa, New Mexico 88008.
Those who cannot attend in person may join the funeral and memorial services virtually on Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/sunsetfuneralhome/ (no account is needed).
Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
