John Braybrooks

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of John Braybrooks, who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
John graduated from Orange High School in Orange, California. From a young age, he demonstrated a strong work ethic, beginning his career as a meat cutter while still a teenager. He dedicated many years to his profession and eventually retired from Kroger (Gerbes), where he proudly served as a fish and meat manager. John took great pride in his work and was well respected by colleagues and customers alike.
Growing up, John was known as the fiscally responsible sibling, always keeping his room neat and orderly. He carried that sense of responsibility throughout his life, balanced by a wonderful sense of humor. John loved to joke with people and brought laughter wherever he went.
John had a passion for trucks, cars, and motorcycles, and he especially enjoyed barbecuing on the grill, often sharing good food and good times with family and friends.
John is survived by his mother, Barbara Pearson; his sisters, Melanie Wirkkala, Lisa Somody, and Jenni Nakhjavani; his brother, Michael Wearing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Braybrooks, and his sister, Wendy Rockhold.
John's presence, laughter, and kindness will remain in the hearts of those who loved him. Though he is gone, his memory will live on forever.
