John B. Brinker, age 80, West Chester, Ohio, returned to his heavenly home on November 27, 2025.

John was born on November 28, 1944, in Covington, Kentucky to John Henry Brinker and Elizabeth Rose (Schuering) Brinker. John married his High School Sweetheart, Linda Danease Whitaker on February 8, 1964.

He served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic and Maintenance Tech for four years and was Honorably discharged from the Air Force Reserve as Sgt. John B. Brinker in August of 1969. He then worked in Sales for Steelcraft for over ten years.

After retirement in 2006, from a career in sales at Ceco, Steelcraft, and Norwood Hardware John pursued his passions of caring and serving. He did volunteer work at the Board of Elections in Clermont County, the Clermont County Animal Shelter, and Lab Rescue of Cincinnati.

John was a man of unwavering belief whose love for God showed through faithful service at Crosspointe Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel for several years. He found joy in serving as a Deacon, leader in Awana and VBS, and assisting with custodial tasks.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23

John is survived by Nancy, his wife of 11 years, his three children Johnny, Denise (Cresap) and David Brinker, seven grandchildren, as well as five great grandchildren, son-in-law Joe Cresap, daughter-in-law Mandy Brinker, niece Beth Griffin and nephew Mark Marthaler. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Linda (Whitaker) Brinker, his sister Janet Marthaler, brother-in-law Donald Marthaler, and his parents Elizabeth and Harry.

There will be Visitation at 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 noon at Crosspointe Baptist Church on Thursday, December 4.
