John Brooks was born on October 18, 1949, to Daniel and Bernice Brooks. He graduated from Galena Park Highschool in 1967.He Served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S Enterprise. He worked for Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years. He retired at the age of 60. He is survived by his wife Mollie, His sister Carolyn Marshall, Brother Glenn Brooks and Wife Susan, Son John Duskey and wife Stacy, Daughter Mary Ann Mosley and Husband Bradley, Granddaughters Candace Harris, Alyssa Lopez, Deah Duskey and Allie Duskey.
