John Robert Bryant, 78, of Albany, died Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Tifton Mr. Bryant spent most of his life in Albany. He was a retired pipe fitter. He loved fish, watch the Georgia Bulldogs, telling jokes, watching TV and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Gibbs, children, Julia Bluestien, Mary Ann Morris, Doris Gibbs, grandson, Lee Green (Tessa), Candice Thurmond, great grandchildren, Tyler Thurmond, Ariana Thurmond, Oliva Thurmond, Haley Thurmond, Raegan Green, Brynley and Hunter Green, and his brother Harry Bryant (Fran).
