John Buttry Obituary
East Alton - John Buttry, 72, of East Alton passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home. He was born September 15, 1953 to Wayne and Marlene (Curry) Buttry. He married Linda Luly in January of 1993 in Godfrey.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Buttry of East Alton; stepson, Jeff Link and his fiancée, Kathy Bense of Godfrey; brother, Robert (Diane) Buttry of Edwardsville; two nephews, Jess (Lanie) Buttry of Springfield and Brett Buttry of St. Louis and many loving in laws and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held a later date. Cremation services entrusted to Paynic Home for Funerals. Online guestbook available at www.paynicfh.com.
