John Callahan of Cheyenne passed away on March 27, 2025.
John was born on November 2, 1948 to Rowena and Joseph Callahan and was one of eight children, three sisters: Betty, Susan, and Lorie and four brothers; Thomas, James, Joe, and Timothy.
John graduated from Central High School in 1967. He began his career with the Wyoming Highway Department where he worked for seven years, then went to work for Mountain Bell for 30 years and contracted back for the company for an additional 13 years after that.
John is survived by his daughter, Kimn Fagervik (Dan), grandsons; Cole and Kyle, stepchildren; Nicole Castillon (TJ) and Corey Palmer (Teighlor) and three granddaughters; Tomi, Mikey, and Tallon, plus eight nephews and ten nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Jim, Tim, and Tom.
Cremation has taken place through Schrader, Aragon, and Jacoby Funeral Home.
