John was (is) a very dear friend. John showed genuine interest and concern for everyone. After meeting, you were his instant friend. Our daughters have been special girl friends since Farmington Elementary school. My wife and I were close to Robin as well. Everyone knew she was fighting cancer, but to talk to her, you would never know it. Robin was so positive and like John made you feel very important. We miss them both, but know that they are happy together again.
We are praying for Kristin, Chad, Craig, Katie, Xiomy and families. Love the Cooper's

In 2004, our family moved in across the street from John and Robin Campbell, on a Saturday, exactly one week before Christmas. The next morning after we moved in (Sunday morning), I had one more load of stuff to move in. I met John for the first time when he came to the back of our moving van and offered to help us finish moving in, even though it was Sunday morning. Our kids were young, and John and Robin always made sure they were welcomed at their house. John would come up with little chores for them to perform and would then pay them a few dollars, which was very exciting for them. They referred to John as "Campbell," and would announce that they were "going over to see Campbell" like it was a very special event. He was our best neighbor ever, and we were very sad when he sold his home and moved away. My children were all sad to hear of his illness and passing, but we are sure he has successfully passed the test of this life and is well-prepared and ready for the next phase of his life.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. We developed a wonderful friendship as he was my teller at Zions. He always was so efficient but never failed to be welcoming and warm. We held several life experiences in common as we each had been student body president of Bountiful High School, we both learned Spanish on our Missions to Mexico. He was a fine and kind man and I am grateful to have called him friend.
Heaven is richer because he is there.
God bless him and his loved ones.
