Our Beloved Sister and Friend

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Barnes 65 years old of Clearfield, Utah was called home to be with her Heavenly parents and her earthly family waiting for her beyond this life on October 3, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1960. She was the oldest child born to Robert Barnes and Eleanor Deanne Barnes Salter in Ogden Utah.

Debbie is survived by her two brothers: Robert Barnes, Steven Barnes (Tami Barnes). Her two sisters; Linda Overduyn and Shirley Barnes. Also, she left behind many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, her sister Vivian Hardman and her youngest brother David Barnes.

Debbie graduated from Viewmont High School in 1978. She worked as a housekeeper for North Davis Hospital in Layton for years. Debbie had a beautiful smile; she loved being with family and friends. She especially loved music by Elton John. Debbie had disabilities in this life in which she needed caregivers who she lived with who helped her in her later years. Debbie enjoyed going to the Enable Day services program where she enjoyed her work there as well as her friends and staff at Northern Eastern Services. She was well loved by her family as well as her friends and staff at Northern Eastern Services. We would like to say thank you to all that have helped our loved one especially Erica Harris and Jennifer Sanford, for your years of dedication, compassion, kindness and support you have given our loved one over these difficult years. Debbie will truly be missed by all.

A visitation will be held at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah 84010 on Wednesday October 29, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Thursday October 30, 2025 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, prior to funeral services to honor her at 11:00am. Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 1342 E. 500 S. Salt Lake City, Utah, following the services.
