UTICA - Mr. John A. Caraco, age 73, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Born in Utica on April 9, 1949, Jack was the son of the late John A. and Helen Caraco. He was a graduate of Utica Free Academy, and then went on to Oneonta University where he graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science.
For many years, Jack enjoyed his position as a Delivery Driver for the Utica Observer-Dispatch. Jack loved his motorcycles and was very passionate about riding and maintaining them. Jack was always ready and willing to assist his siblings and their families with any of their needs. He enjoyed keeping up with world events and was very interested in history. He loved watching TV, especially the History Channel.
Jack is survived by his sister, Barb Caraco; and his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Betsy Caraco; He held close the memory of his brother, Jeff Caraco, who passed away on October 10, 2018. He is also survived by his nieces, Christina Caraco, and Jill (Steve) Szeliga; and his good friends, Art and Debbie Wormuth and their daughter Bernadette.
