John-Carroll Gasperski, 39, of Worcester, died unexpectantly, Sunday, August 4, 2024. He is survived by his mother, June (Kudron) Gasperski, several cousins and his friends Cleo and Magic. He is predeceased by his father, Carroll J. Gasperski and brother, Michael J. Gasperski.
Born in Worcester, John graduated from South High School. He worked as a mail assistant for many years at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He was a member of Genesis Club and Everyday Miracles, where he had many friends. A lover of all animals, he cared for two cats and on occasion would assist caring for his mother's dog. As a runner, John participated in many charity road races, including the Falmouth Road Race. A long-time member of St. John Church, he was an alter server for many years in his youth. John was a gentle kind soul, who extended his generosity to many.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, with a Mass at 10:30 am in St. John Church,44 Temple St. Burial will follow in St. Joseph -Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606 OR Genesis Club, Inc., 274 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605

I am a genesis club member. I enjoyed John a lot. He was a gentle guy, with a sense of humor, and helpful. He will be missed. I will make a donation to Genesis Club in his memory.
