PUNTA GORDA, FL_____Tadeusz M. Deptula, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Danuta M. Deptula, in 2020.
Tadeusz leaves behind his loving children: Boguslawa Gaska and her husband Mariusz of Paxton, Gerard Deptula and his fiancée Patrycja Topolewska of Warsaw, Poland, and Marlena Gawrych and her husband Marcin of Worcester. He was a proud grandfather to four cherished grandchildren: Natalia Gaska, Sophia and Nadia Gawrych, and Alex Deptula. He is also survived by his loving siblings: Elizabeth Gasiorski and her husband Marian, and Wanda Malinowski and her husband Andrzej, all of Port Charlotte, Florida; and his brother Wieslaw Deptula and his wife Jadwiga of Worcester. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Ewa Jasinska of Holden, and his brother-in-law Krzysztof Jasinski and his wife Elzbieta of Poland. Tadeusz will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Born in Tabory, Poland, to the late Czeslaw and Halina Deptula.
Tadeusz immigrated to the United States and made Worcester his home for over 30 years before relocating to Florida in 2021. He was a hardworking and dedicated entrepreneur, owning and operating Stafford Discount Liquors for many years. A devout Catholic, Tadeusz was a faithful member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. He enjoyed traveling, fishing with his brother and friends, and, above all, spending quality time with his family.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from Henry - Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, Worcester, MA with a calling hour from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Tadeusz will be remembered for his warmth, his dedication to family, and his enduring spirit.
