He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia ""GiGi"" Carson; children, John W. (Heather) Carson IV of Perry, Florida, Erin Grace Carson (Paul) Belough of White Pine, Christopher Linden (Miranda) Carson of Sevierville, and Rebecca Lynne Carson of White Pine; grandchildren, Fisher and Cannon Carson and Audrey and Katy Belough; parents, John William Carson Jr. and Janie Carson of Winter Haven, Florida; brothers, Jim Walter Carson of Winter Haven, Florida and David Charles Carson of North Palm Beach, Florida; sisters, Cathy Carson (Don) Watson of Winter Haven, Florida and Amy Carson (Dan) Strnad of Hill City, South Dakota; special friends, Bryan (Gina) Averett of White Pine.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 6 at Manley Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 6 at the church with Dr. Tony Buchanan officiating.
Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Morristown.

Remembering Dr Carson on the Anniversary of his passing. A very good, kind Dr and I know he is missed by all who knew him. He treated my eye infections twice.

I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Carson's passing. He took such good care of me and my diabetic eyes. Prayers and thoughts to his family and friends, and his co-workers. He will be truly missed by so many of us. God Bless.
