John W. Catling Sr.

John W. Catling, Sr., age 82, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on December 17, 2023.
John raised his family in Pine Hill, NJ before moving to Michigan and spent twelve years there, before settling in Franklinville, NJ. He worked for Ford Motor Co. in Pennsauken, relocating to the Detroit, MI plant before retiring in 1997 after 30 years with the company. He proudly served in the US National Guard.
John had a love for antique cars and was a member of the South Jersey Cruisers Association. Most importantly, he was a strong, Bible-believing Christian with an unwavering faith.
Beloved husband of Claire M. Catling (nee Hubler). Devoted father of John W. Catling, Jr., Tammy Morris (Bill), and Faye Catenacci (Dan). Loving grandfather of John III, Candice (Edgar), Stephanie (Christian), Korrine, Billy (Sara), and Brandon (Ryan). Treasured great-grandfather of Alex, Octavio, Johnny, Brynn, CJ, Toni, Rylee, and Luke. John was predeceased by his siblings and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, January 12th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, where a memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown.
